Spider Angiomas” so called because the appearance of the central deep arteriolar with radiating peripheral capillaries, can be present in children (Dorsum of hands, face) and in adults. (Mostly face.) If present in large numbers, especially away from the face (Trunk,Arms) a systemic condition should be suspected (Liver problem, Autoimmune disorder).

Linear dilated capillaries (Telangiectases) are common on the face and are often seen in persons with sun damage; they can also be seen in Rosacea and Acne Rosacea.”
