Micro-Needling Skin Rejuvenation Treatment

Nisha Skin Spa uses a fractional micro-needling device to tighten, lift and rejuvenate the skin. The treatment is highly effective in reducing fine lines and wrinkles, stretch marks, surgical and acne scars.

Fractional micro-needling or collagen induction therapy uses tiny needles to pierce the skin in a controlled, quick and precise pattern. It is safe on any skin type. The treatment is brief, with little or no discomfort.

The automated micro-needling device rapidly stamps the skin , creating micro-injury to the skin encouraging rapid collagen production to harness the body’s natural immediate response to regrow and repair.

Erbium

The Erbium Laser produces a superficial peeling of the skin by using a powerful beam of light. It is calibrated to remove skin precisely at the same level as it sweeps over the treated area.

The Erbium Laser is very useful for removal of blemishes, shallow scars and shallow wrinkles. It can be used on the face, neck and chest. Also on the hands. It is not useful for removing moderate or deep wrinkles or scars, for which we use the Fractionated CO2 Laser and the Traditional CO2 Laser.

The Erbium Laser treatment is an office procedure and is done under local anesthesia. There is a downtime of 4-7 days. More than one treatment is usually necessary.

CLEAR + BRILLIANT®, Laser treatment for aging and pigmented skin

Clear + Brilliant® is a safe, non-surgical laser procedure to treat aging skin and melasma. Similar to a Fraxel treatment, the Clear + Brilliant treatment is less aggressive but parallels results to achieving younger looking skin by improving skin’s tone, texture, fine lines and pigment. The technology delivers two wavelengths, the Clear + Brilliant which is similar to Fraxel Re:store and Permea which is similar to Fraxel Thulium.

The Clear + Brilliant laser treatment addresses texture, wrinkles and fine lines in aging skin. The Permea Laser Treatment targets sun damage, pigment and melasma. Both treatments can be implemented into a regular anti-aging maintenance and prevention program.

Clear + Brilliant is a no downtime treatment delivering the following results for all skin types: more radiant skin, smaller pore size, softer and rejuvenated skin, and improved texture and tone. Clear + Brilliant is a 20 minute treatment and can be performed on tan skin and requires a topical pre-treatment numbing solution with 4-6 treatments recommended scheduled 4 weeks apart.

Permea targets melasma, pigment, sun damage and lentigines in 4-6 treatments and is recommended every 2-4 weeks. After a Permea treatment, skincare product efficacy increases when product is applied immediately post treatment. skinfo®, founded by Dr. Taub offers skincare solutions for aging, acne, dry and oily skin.

When treating Melasma, 3 Permea treatments are administered every 2 weeks, alternating with SilkPeels in between each treatment. Patients are recommended to pre-treat skin with hydroquinone or a lightening alternative. Tan skin will need 5-6 treatments every 4 weeks and SilkPeels every 2 weeks.

How do I know if I need Sublative Rejuvenation with eMatrix Laser Skin Resurfacing?

A dull complexion, pigmentation, enlarges pores, and fine lines on the skin can be treated with Clear + Brilliant to produce a more radiant complexion.

How will I look and feel during a Clear + Briliant Laser Skin Resurfacing Treatment?

Post a Clear + Brilliant treatment, minor redness, swelling, itchiness and sensitivity may occur as well as minor skin roughness can last up to 7-8 days. No topical is needed for a Permea treatment, but minor redness and swelling usually lasts less than 24 hours, skin roughness will last for about 7-8 days and minor peppering generally lasts 7-8 days.

Is there another way to get the same effect?

Fraxel Laser, Sublative Rejuvenation with eMatrix, and CO2RE will resurface the skin but do require more downtime.

Can this be combined with other treatments?

Post healing, the skin can be treated for further anti-aging results with treatments such as injectable fillers, botulinum toxin, and skin tightening alternatives to surgery and face lifts.

Pixel Fractional Resurfacing

The Pixel Fractional Resurfacing Laser is one of the newest and most effective rejuvenating lasers. Pixel Fractional Resurfacing Laser works by creating thousands of equidistant, closely grouped, tiny areas of skin damage of equal depth, separated by larger areas of normal skin; healing can begin immediately from the intervening intact skin areas.

This way, even though the depth of skin removal is the same as in classic Laser Resurfacing, the recovery time is much faster than in classical skin resurfacing. Furthermore, there is no need for local anesthesia. A topical anesthetic application is sufficient to remove the feeling of pain. Also, there is no need for laborious soaking every 2 hours followed by applying a greasy ointment. Makeup can be applied the next day.

Inasmuch as very little time is lost from work, Pixel Fractional Resurfacing Laser is appropriate for the very busy professional or business man or woman. The procedure is very beneficial for treating Acne Scars, Aging Skin, Wrinkles and Folds, Loose and Redundant Skin, Melasma and Stretch Marks. One to several treatments may be necessary depending on the condition to be treated and the patient’s response to treatment.
